Friends of Solar Prep (FOSP) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to transparency and accountability, publishing annual 990 tax returns. The organization raises funds to support campus priorities identified by the school principals.

Since 2016, FOSP has supported Solar Preparatory School for Girls, and beginning in 2019, expanded its mission to also fundraise for Solar Preparatory School for Boys—advancing educational opportunities across both campuses.
